"GoBox Rompbox" [mp3 removed]

A melody from an earlier song played at a couple of speeds with a percussion break performed on the Reaktor "goBox" synth. Some added percussion from someone else's Elektron Machinedrum samples.

"AZ Dub 2" [mp3 removed]

Have been working on this tune over the course of several posts. Stripped out the main melody to concentrate on the drums. Metallicized the scratch sounds and it started working for me on a "robot ragga" level. Added a new tune that floats in and out. Finally some reverb so it has a fuller sound. Some "horrible" sounds threaten to derail it near the end but I think it recovers.

Update: A friend reminds me I forgot to add bass again. To be revised.

"Pitch Sequences 2" [mp3 removed]

Ambient monochrome-style tune with two antiphonal riffs going in and out of sync using LFO settings, intermittently joined by some off-the-shelf glitchy beats.

"Audrey Zapp (Dub Version)" [mp3 removed]

One purpose of this pastiche-y version (for me) is a series of reveals or settings for the wails and grumbles made with the Electribe's ring-modulated external input, quite a wonderful (for me) low cost effect.

"Audrey Zapp (Light Industrial Remix)" [mp3 removed]

A tune from 3 1/2 years ago, with some added texture, a hair more structure, and some grating noises underneath. In my dotage it will be eternal summer and I will be barreling down the Audrey Zapp bike path, surrounded by reclaimed railroad and swamp land, thinking about what I'm going to post when I get home.
